Trip Tips

Booking details

If planning to visit Machu Picchu book at least 1-2 months in advanced as they get booked out very quickly. Using their website is also a smarter way to book as the tickets are way cheaper than any other websites.

What would you have changed?

The tourist ticket we bought for the visit of 10 places in Cusco but in the end only 4 were open. But we paid the full price! So don't pay this tourist ticket or check before what is open and what is not!

Tips for a friend

Prepare for altitude, give yourself time to rest and acclimatise when you first get there. Chewing coca leaves are a big help for hikes!
