Lisbon is a beautiful coastal city with many great things to offer. It has several neighborhoods with very specific atmospheres, so anyone will find what fits them best. In Alfama, a highly located neighborhood, you will enjoy beautiful sights, great street art, nice restaurants, the San Jorge Castle (and its animals !) and nice walks in small streets. In the Bairro Alto, you will find many bars, cheap beverages and a lot of places to dance and enjoy the nightlife of Lisboa. If you feel sporty, you can cross the city by bike, and go along the coast to Belém, where you will visit its tour. The queue is generally huge, but it's still great from the outside, with the wave whipping its base. There, do not miss the famous Pasteis de Bélem, the delicious flan pastry served with cinnamon and tea will not disappoint you after a long walk (or biking tour)!

Sintra, easy to reach from Lisbon by train, is a place full of magic. When you enter the city, you really feel like you're in a fairytale. It is surrounded by nature, and has many castles and palaces, built in different types of architectures depending on their time periods. The Quinta da Regaleira, a romantic palace from the 19th century, has an amazing garden in which you will get lost and feel like in other times. The Moorish Castle, from the 9th century, is now a ruined fort from which you can have beautiful sights of the city and its nature. Last but not least, the Pena Palace, certainly the most eccentric palace of the region, is a colourful castle from the 18th century, built on top of Sintra's highest hill. If you wander around and inside, you will see that it mixes many different styles, which results in a flashy work of art full of forms and colors. But Sintra is not only about its gardens and castle. Walk in the little center and enjoy getting lost in the streets, where you find some nice shops and restaurants.
