Itinerary Overview

On this trip we spent two days in the area of a small and beautiful fishing village called Stoupa in the south of Greece, Peloponnese. This was part of a two week trip my boyfriend and I took to the southern Peloponnese region of Greece. It is not usually a very common destination but it is certainly very nice and recommended, it is a quiet, serene place, with a beautiful view and an excellent climate.

The first day we walked mainly through Stoupa and went to some gift shops, they have a beautiful promenade and a perfect view of the sunset on the water, sitting down to watch it is very magical because all the sun is reflected and you feel energy of peace and relaxation. Following this, on the second day we went to explore a different beach nearby, had lunch there at a local restaurant which was amazing, and continued on to our next location.

My boyfriend and I arrived at the stupa on Monday morning. Stopa is a small fishing village in the south of Greece, we arrived there with our rental car, the road was quite fast and comfortable, the road was in very good condition and the view along the way was very beautiful. Driving through the village, we were quickly able to understand that this is a calm and quiet area, full of nator everywhere. I find it incredible to find places where I can find peace and feel that the city also moves at my pace and adapts to my speed. We walked to the beach in town and bought some souvenirs in one of the many gift shops on the seafront, the gifts are very versatile such as postcards, key chains, photographs and others. The highlight of this day was our amazing guest house. The Blue Lagoon Guest House has its own private beach with turquoise waters so you can swim on your own. Once we got to the guest house and went swimming at the private beach, we fixed ourselves some dinner and went to sleep.

The next day we woke up, made ourself some shakshuka for breakfast, and ate it infront of the most beautiful view of the ocean. We sadly checked out of this amazing place, knowing well we will definitely be coming back there. We got in the car and drove out to explore a different beach not too far away in a different village. There we ones again were amazed at the clarity of the water. We were there almost alone except for another local family that was there. We had lunch at the beach restaurant which was very delicious and included fresh fish and calamari, and continued spending our day relaxing. We watch the beautiful sunset on the water, and went to our Airbnb apartment at the village, which was very comfortable and located not so far from the beach. The next morning we packed up our stuff and continued our roadtrip through Greece.
