Moving my body is always a major part of my traveling. I don't like to be limited to one area, and I always prefer to juggle and experience different varied classes

Studio Naim in Tel Aviv gives a good solution to this need.

"Naim" means pleasant in Hebrew- and it is indeed pleasant and welcoming. With modern zen community vibes- suitable for all levels all day long.

It's a studio for yoga, Pilates, movement, and lots of other possible goody's  (African dance, ballet, belly dancing, gaga, hip-hop, martial arts, belly dancing, microbalance, flying yoga, contact improvisation, and more and more....) all in one style. Recently they had established some traditional gyms spaces if you are into your own dynamic individual practice

You can easily shift from one class to another from morning to evening and create your own light-intensive movement workshop.

They owned about ten branches spread around town- so you can choose a location that works for you, or to manipulate between classes.

The rates are cheap and affordable, you can also go for tab. If you stay for a month or more you can buy a monthly free subscription and really go wild.

I recommend Adam Harel yoga classes and Roni Chadash for modern dance then you can try to taste something you never tried before like Broadway dance or Feldenkrais.

This local market which is located in the middle of the city manages a unique contrast of colors and flavors characteristic of the Middle East

you can find all kinds of restaurants and have the chance to feel the real Israeli culture

Apart from this, we can also find a variety of stores and designers which makes it an unbeatable place to buy souvenirs for all kinds of persons.

In the summer evenings and if you are lucky around this market you can also see circus performers that make this place great. Just a few blocks from the sea this market is a unique jewel in the middle of the city.

Whenever I think of travel and journey vibe I think of food that comes from the East, and always in every city, even at European as it's got no I'm always looking for an Indian or Thai restaurant to feast my heart.

Nam is this kind of restaurant that brings the authentic taste and smells of the east with the twist of chef dishes - surprising and most of the time even better from the original one.

The dishes are prepared by a team of skilled Thai chefs who use fresh ingredients of the highest quality and are faithful to recipes from the country of origin.

A wide variety of the raw materials in the restaurant come from Thailand and the Thai vegetables are grown especially in the agricultural area of the restaurant.

If you more into Indian food you can reserve a place on Monday nights that specialized in  Indian cuisine.

Lodging

  • I personally live in the city, but would choose an Airbnb in old Jaffa or Neve Zedek area which are authentic and beautiful Another good option is Abraham hostel, it's in a central location, travellers friendly. It's a hip and modern hostel. With clean rooms (different verities and prices) a nice bar and hanging spaces to chill and socialized if you want. You can also get some info about art and music events or different activities that's happens around the city.
