Itinerary Overview
Two friends and I arrived to Malaga airport at 3am local time after a 4 hour flight, there we took a cap to Rincon de la Victoria, a small town approximately 20 minutes from the centrum of Malaga. I decided to join this trip 2 days before the flight left so it was really spontaneous. Although it was late at night the temperature was extremely pleasant and the sky full of stars. We stayed at the house that belonged to the parents of one of my friends, only 50 meters from the beach.
The ten days that we spent in the outskirts of Malaga consisted of playing a lot of basketball, hiking, exploring, tanning and swimming in the ocean.

Rincón de la Victoria Vacation trip with friends
Rincon de la Victoria is a nice location to visit if you like the sun and warm weather, the beach and ocean, hiking and playing sports.

Nerja Exploring the caves and hiking
We visited the famous caves in Nerja (Cuevas de Nerja). For hiking we went up the chillar river near Nerja and accidentaly after a lot of hours hiking we made it to Frigiliana - one of the most beautiful Pueblo blancos in Spain.

Canillas de Aceituno Hiking La Maroma
From Rincon de la Victoria we biked all the way to Canillas de Aceituno to hike up the mountain Maroma. It was a really though bike tour and we arrived a bit to late to be able to hike up Maroma. Instead we did a daytour to a beautiful river really close to Maroma. What made it really worth it was the 800m downhill with the bikes on the way back.
