I've always said that being a prisoner does not always mean being in jail, It's just a matter of doing something that you don't enjoy or that you don't feel passion for every day of your life.

Highs & Lows

If you're looking for the best beaches... you have to travel to Costa Rica

It's an expensive country, although you can find cheap places to enjoy!

Itinerary Overview

My first stop after my decision was Costa Rica, which is a country that I have a lot of affection for because it taught me not to depend on a job because I wanted to continue my trip for a long time.

It has amazing beaches, people is very warm and lovable as well as willing to help if you need something, or to show you the beauty of their culture and country.

Gastronomy is not their strength but anyway to can find good places you can find several places mostly in downtown San Jose or the big cities.

  • 3 Nights: Alajuela
There are several bars that I like visiting like "Recuerdos bar" and "Guitarras bar"
  • 72 Nights: San José
because I wanted to visit a different city in a different country
  • 3 Nights: Uvita
having a good time at the beach with friends

Q & A

  • What would you have changed?

My trip to the border with Panama, I didn't like that place, it as odd and the people in the migration building is not friendly at all

  • Anything go wrong during the trip?

Actually no, everything was perfect!! Costa Rica is a place that I felt very comfortable with!

  • How was the food?

definitely "La Estacion" in San Jose, I was a customer and also an employee and both experiences were fantastic!

  • What tips would you give a friend?

try to find the cheap mini markets in china town to save money because the country is expensive

  • Packing tips?

It depends on what is the idea that you have about traveling, in my case I always try to carry as little as I can because that saves me a lot of money in the airports because most of the time airlines let you have 2 handbags in the cabin of the plane so you can save the money that you would have paid to check your bags if they're too heavy

  • Transportation Tips?

from the airport to Downtown San Jose the public transportation is very safe, comfortable and cheap because the price is 660 colones which is $1.20

  • Any surprises?

  • Booking details?

I always recommend using www.booking.com because they a genius plan that allows you to have better discounts and nice hostels
