Highs & Lows

My highlight would probably be just the overall beauty of this city, every building is picture perfect.

It can get pretty rainy and cold so bring a good jacket but prepare for when it will be warm as well.

Itinerary Overview

San Fransisco is such a beautiful city with so much to do. There is so much history with SF in the 60s so it was cool to see the place in the present time. Cable cars run up and down the huge hills of the city and wonderful views of the ocean and bridges at the top of hills. Houses and apartments have such a cute vintage style and architecture . Travel only 20 mins and you are at the coast with wonderful hikes like lands end and Baker beach to the Golden Gate Bridge you are in logs of nature. Baker beach is a wonderful place for a good view of the Golden gate. Sutro baths is a sight to see. many many places and beauties in SF. Weather was varying from 45-70 f *. The thrift shops in San Francisco are pretty infamous they are all pretty popular and trendy which can be expensive but the cheaper stores like goodwill still have awesome stuff to checkout.

  • Day trip: Sutro Baths
beautiful sight and an interesting backstory (plus a great hike).
  • Day trip: Golden Gate Park

Q & A

  • What would you have changed?

I wish I had more time to go all the way across the Golden Gate Bridge because I know there is a lot of nature waiting on the other side. it takes about one hour or a bit more to cross fully and then some time to explore the other side too so be sure you have a lot of tie for this.

  • Anything go wrong during the trip?

  • How was the food?

be sure to check out chinatown for some bomb Chinese food. The Chinatown in SF is historical for being the first chinatown in America that created the fortune cookie here.

  • What tips would you give a friend?

bring a jacket and make sure you have enough money because food is pretty expensive over there.

  • Packing tips?

bring a variety of clothes it gets war, and cold. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes because there are a lot of walking activities there plus your going up and down lots of hills.

  • Transportation Tips?

take the muni bus super easy or rent a bike.

  • Any surprises?

I was not expecting a 15 dollar tacos

  • Booking details?

I used hopper app for my plane ticket and HostelWorld app for my hostel, both helpful and slightly better rate.
