León Feel the Bohemian Rhythm of Life in León, Nicaragua
1+A couple of nights in bohemian and laid-back Leon. The place felt refreshingly local where you could experience the regular rhythm of life without an overwhelming focus on tourism. City centre is very walkable with a large fruit and veg market in front of the main cathedral. We went on a free walking tour to learn more about the rich and tumultuous history of the city and the country as a whole - highly recommended.
Granada Passing by on our way to Ometepe island
1+Picturesque but lacks authenticity and character. The historical center was set up mainly for domestic tourism with plenty of tatty stands and average eateries offering Western options.
