My vacation in the Iguazu Falls
My parents had a house in Florianopolis in BR, a technical stop at the falls, we drove with my siblings and took advantage of the good summer weather, and we spent the new year in Brazil, Revelhion!

Itinerary Overview
We arrived in Iguazu and spent a week at the Sheraton Hotel, the service was excellent but we only went on some of the busiest tours. I did this trip with my parents, they have a sense of travel that I do not like to admire, but if I had an opportunity to travel again I would do it differently, to go minute by minute, I do not criticize the service of the hotels they seem fantastic. , but I choose the adventure and since I already know about this place I can prepare for a new adventure, the entrance is great, being a minor I could not enter La Garganta del Diablo. It can be visited from the Argentine side and the Brazilian side, both are beautiful, the colorful birds, the monkeys, Coati that are jungle animals, one of the activities that most excited me was the tour of Puerto Iguazu on horseback with guaranies that They are local and speak another language. In Ciudad del Este buy a phone at a very good price and there is the union of three borders, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay there you can get many offers-

4+When you travel with your parents, they are aware of all the details, the hotel was very good, my room had a view of the falls, so in the morning before breakfast I put my binoculars and watched the sunrise, I recommend having an accessory like binoculars in case you are passionate about bird watching, my father is an amateur of photography, so the content you see is his contribution and he loves traveling with his camera. The horse ride was fun and at the end we ate a delicious barbecue and learned guarani.

17+There is a big change when crossing the border from Arg to Brz, first we did not know how to speak much Portuguese, my parents did, but it was not an impediment, I only thought of swimming in the sea and gathering snails, shells, and seeing strange creatures of the world marine, what any child looks for in the sea, creating new adventures and meeting friends to play soccer on the beach, all that was already kilometers away, the trip was not long, I was able to sleep, until my sister and my mother cheered the travel with their songs to this adventure in a different place, the idea was to spend the new year which is very fun in Brazil they call it the old night and we have to dress in white and watch the fireworks show, my mother was happy because She loves to cook and we love her food, my father took me fishing and sharing the holidays with them makes me feel full-
Punta del Este Family Holidays - Coming home.
We already left Brazil and on our route we could add a destination and as I told you before, my parents are good at organizing tours - my sister went to the hospital since we ate fish and it fell down on her. For that reason we did not go many times to the beach, or to dinner, or to walk, with my father we also went fishing. I loved the Pablo Neruda museum since he lived there and wrote many of his poems, the energy in Punta del Este took us to relax, to enjoy together this vacation that we were already back home, share the photos and anecdotes of this trip, I emphasize that I was barely 10 years old and it was the first time I went to the sea, I never forget this adventure more.

What would you have changed?
The only thing that would change is fear, I was a child and now I could undertake that journey on my own and go even further.Anything go wrong during the trip?
Not bad, just that my parents forgot my identity document at home, so we had to wait 3 hours until they authorized my entry to Brazil, we are 5 brothers so some document was going to forget.Restaurant recommendations?
The hotel service is incredible, like certain stalls on the street, eating açaí in the afternoons was the most delicious thing I tasted, the DeLa Font restaurant, friendly and gourmet. Incredible Jungle Restaurant grills.Tips you would give a friend?
Do the tour on horseback, light summer clothing, water, repellent and raincoat because it is all the time wet.Packing tips?
Assembling the backpack is a challenge, I like to travel light, but one of the things that cannot be absent also is sunscreen, repellent and accessories in case they carry cameras that do not take care of the body of the camera.Transportation Tips?
We did this overland trip by car, but it can also be done by plane, bike, bus and the landscape is incredible.Any surprises?

Lodging
Sheraton Hotel located within the Iguazú National Park, the hotel has an outdoor pool and spa. Some rooms have balconies with views over the falls. The property has a restaurant and a tennis court. The rooms are understated in decor and feature large private balconies, some with views of the falls and others of the jungle. A buffet breakfast is served daily. The in-house restaurant prepares delicious international specialties that can be enjoyed looking at the impressive waterfalls.
We left the first crossing, and I was able to cross the border without a problem, we were pleased to have been in Iguazu in front of one of the wonders of the world, so we continued in our car with funny songs and the summer with us, towards Florianopolis Brazil. My dad has a house in Florianopolis so this time we didn't make a hotel reservation.
My parents rented a house, very nice, very modern. I have memories of it, it was in front of the sea and very close to an avenue where we walked at night and there were many people and bars.
