Itinerary Overview

Overall Montréal was such a beautiful and safe trip. We had great food crepes for breakfast and lots of biking around . There were so many French speaking people around you really made you feel like you were in France! If you like to skate there are so many great skateboarding places including the Olympic skate arena which is huge and super cool to skate or even just watch pro skaters. Also great little hikes around like mount royale . if u like to thrift there are great thrift shopping  stores and super cool vintage western shops as well. Highly recommend a trip to Montréal for good fun. At night my friends and I ventured to the plateau for fun night life bars and clubs; the clubs were super fun and lots pf college young people to older people all joining together.  They had tasty drinks and the people of Canada are all very kind and interesting to meet. :))

  • 5 Nights: Montreal
    Good time with friends

Q & A

  • What would you have changed?

I would have stayed longer so I could go deeper into Canada and visit more nature and do more hiking. Montreal is more city like although there are still some cool nature hikes to plan I would love to go further into Canada to do bigger hikes.

  • Anything go wrong during the trip?

My friends and I road-tripped there so crossing the US border from Vermont to Canada was a bit challenging due to Covid. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE COVID TEST AND VACCINE!!

  • How was the food?

Tim burtons is staple coffee house and is a cool thing to try if you want to taste common Canadian coffee culture .

  • What tips would you give a friend?

Make sure to have a little backpack and download biking apps for easy access to biking around the city which is very fun.

  • Packing tips?

Bring a light jacket and backpack

  • Transportation Tips?

Biking is the most fun way in my opinion but the next best thing is using the subway. The subway is pretty easy and if you are athletic biking and the subway are probably ETA to destination

  • Any surprises?

If you are from USA and under 21 everything is legal! My friends and I went to bars and had so much fun drinking legally totally safe and lots of other young people around the bars .

  • Booking details?

I booked my hotel directly with the an app called: “Hopper” and the rate was slightly better .
