Highs & Lows

THE FOOD, I love spicy food and farmers markets and Mexico has so much of it.

Everything was great.

Itinerary Overview

I have been to Mexico twice, the first time was in 2015 I was more into the ocean and the water parks. I went in December of last year, and it was a completely different experience. It was way better. I could appreciate it more not just the culture and the food but also how it feels not as far as the home of course it’s different but people are so nice and so warm, and you always had a blast, they are hilarious and of course, I speak Spanish that’s my mother language, so it was really easy to communicate. Again, I always recommend reading about the culture or the specific places that you are interested in, not just for organizing your schedule and how you want to spend your time, but also to understand a little bit more and appreciate a little bit more when you are in that place I really like walking tour, so please search those. So fun. Usually, they are walking around all in the center of the city, and they have different jackets or umbrellas or specific advertisements. They have certified guides, and they don’t charge a crazy price.

CDMX definitely is a place for everyone. It’s amazing how many activities, food places cultures inside their own City combine and create this great environment, full of energy, color, and spicy. I really recommend you create a plan which depends on where you are staying so the first day you can go to the closest place to your hotel, so you can learn a little bit more about how to move into the city and then, later on, you can go to the farther places knowing a little bit more how this really works. What are the options you’re going to use the metro, or you’re going to Uber, or you’re going to use a taxi always check how expensive it is because sometimes you will think that may be going to the metro is cheaper but no, and also the city is giant, so be careful and always be aware of your surroundings.

Taxco was just a day trip when I was staying here CDMX, I did a lot of day trips, I really recommend it. It was really easy, thankfully my hotel offers a lot of guides, it was really easy because they contact everything except food, the groups are small, and you can choose a group who speaks only Spanish or a group who speaks English. Taxco really resonated with me flower called Noche buena, this flower was always in my mom's Christmas decorations, also there’s a town in Colombia called Villa de Leyva, which also in a way is similar, especially the way that the streets are built, the architecture he was really fun. It was gorgeous, they work with silver, and they are really talented. So if you really like jewelry, I recommended you to buy some there because it’s amazing, wonderful quality, and it’s also cheaper than in other places.
