We made this trip to see most of South America, as my big dream was to travel my own continent.

So we started with the biggest country, Brazil, our first destination was Sao Paulo, we arrived at Guarulhos international airport, which is quite far, so I recommend one of the shuttle services available at the airport, we arrived at 4:30 in the morning and the buses start running from 6:00 so we had to wait a couple of hours to start our adventure, meanwhile we could do some errands like withdrawing cash with the local currency.

We stayed at the Paulista Center Hotel, in the northwest point of the famous Paulista Avenue, very close to several subway stations, the MASP museum, Oscar Freire street and several shopping malls to buy thousands of souvenirs of the city, as it was so early we could enjoy the day and walk all over the Avenidad Paulista, we took the opportunity to buy souvenirs and some clothes.

After these magnificent days in Sao Paulo, we went to the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro, the flight is very short about an hour, once we landed we started to feel the carioca heat, both in the weather and in the people, they are very friendly and helpful. You can also take the bus at Galeão International Airport, which costs 15 reais to take you to Copacabana or Ipanema.

This city is one of our favorites because the weather is wonderful, the tourist attractions are endless, our recommendations are the Sugar Loaf, Christ the Redeemer and the Selaron staircase and as we were new to the city and did not speak the local language we preferred to take a guided tour from our hotel, with this package we did very well, we were able to visit the most important sites, very comfortable and safe.

After passing through Brazil, we decided to go further south and get to Argentina, specifically to Buenos Aires, we flew on a night flight, which complicated everything a bit because when we arrived at Ezeiza International Airport it was very difficult to find a cab, uber or bus to take us to the city, because it should be noted that the international airport is more than an hour away from the center of the city.

However, we were able to take a bus that we hired with the agency Tienda Leon, directly at the airport, it went very well, we paid around 20 USD for each seat and we were dropped off at the door of our Hotel, which was very well located in the Microcentro neighborhood.  Buenos Aires is a splendid city, we loved its European type architecture and its climate in the beginning of winter is more than perfect if you like fresh minds.
