Itinerary Overview

It was my first time in Great Britain, I travel with my parents and my brother it was a really fun trip, at the beginning the accent was really easy to understand because we are right first in London but then when we went to Scotland or Wales, it’s got a little bit hard. But if your mother language is English, you’re going to understand them perfectly. Thankfully a lot of friends and my mom's side of the family have lived there, so we had already really clear what we wanted to do, and when we are going to do it, so my mom peak what we were going to do each day in each city’s, we went to 8 different cities. Our trips were smooth sailing we only had one problem in the middle of the trip the train company had to strike, so we had to switch trains a lot, and we had to take also airplane that was not included in our plans.

Honestly, London is so big and has so many things that you can do that I will recommend you to choose what type of tourism you want to do, Of course, I’m really going to recommend all the museums and historical monuments, but also it’s a really fun day in the theater district, Soho, Chinatown, Piccadilly street and so on. Honestly, I enjoy all types of tourism, I feel it is worth it to mention how fun London nightlife is, being from Colombia I find out that the party scene in London is quite different so if you want to try it out, I really encourage you. Because is such a big city that reunited a lot of different cultures. The amount of restaurants and street food is amazing, and honestly, I really love Indian food, and they were a fantastic place near Piccadilly Street. Because I went in the summer, I was not really worried about the weather, but I always check before going out because some days were warming than others. Moving around the city is pretty easy, and I will recommend going by bus is fun, and they have really great views from the second floor.

Edinburgh - I was recommended by some friends.

Scotland is a really incredible country honestly, I have no words to describe how full of culture nature, and history it is, I wish I would stay a little bit longer I know, so I wish I went out a little bit more to the countryside because I have wonderful reviews about it. Speaking more specifically about Edinburg, it looks like a city straight from a fairy tale. It’s incredible how amazing the city is built and how interesting is the surrounding history. Even though it was June almost July, it was icy and windy, so if you’re not used to cold weather, I really recommend you to be prepared, I did a lot of walking tours, especially the first day, so I got a more clear view. How organized is the city, and where are the things that I want to visit. There is a large variety of souvenirs that you can buy, that are really cute.
