Itinerary Overview

Denmark and Sweden in January is probably only for the cold-loving hearts of us, but you have fewer tourists, and you will definitely see the city in a different "light" (or darkness :-P)

The Little Mermaid, DK
We went to see the Little Mermaid by Bus, and it's actually smaller than I would have expected it. Still, it was breathtaking, with the foggy weather and the snow.

Nyhavn, DK
To see the famous Nyhavn during Winter makes it very special for me. It's a different vibe, with the houses and the boats in between all the snow and the people sitting in the nice coffee shops and having a good time. I enjoyed it very much, but I really want to see it in summer.

Malmöhus Museum, SE
The former prison is now home to a huge and very impressive exhibition. The first part of the museum is the natural history part, with a lot of Animals, and you will be impressed how huge some of them are in real life. You go further, and you will learn a lot about the history itself, and at the end, there is the former prison museum. Very impressive as well. For me, it was the perfect day, and I can only recommend it. But you will probably take all day for it.

Absolute must-see!!! The bus connection from Copenhagen is TOP and cheap. You won't regret it ;-)

    I would probably not go there in Winter again, but it was nice to experience it.

    Warm warm warm clothes

  • Transportation Tips?

    Bus and Tram works pretty good, just inform yourself about buses at night or evening
