Highs & Lows

Having a table full of food & it being all within low budget travel is not to be missed!

It's a little tricky to get to the really nice beaches by bus. And we were not prepared for the dresscode in bars & clubs.

Itinerary Overview

Greece was an unforgettable destination that we reached by taking a short, three-hour flight from Berlin. We were thrilled to land in Thessaloniki, a charming city that had plenty of attractions to offer us. Visiting in May was a great decision as the weather was perfect for exploring the city during the day and enjoying the nightlife in the evenings. While the dress codes at some of the clubs were strict, we discovered that there were plenty of bars and restaurants that made up for it. The seafood at one of the restaurants was exceptional, and we enjoyed the unique experience of creating our own menu. The city's vibrant atmosphere was contagious, and we were drawn in by the many opportunities to experience local culture and history. Overall, we had an incredible time in Greece and recommend Thessaloniki to anyone looking for a destination with a perfect blend of culture, nightlife, and adventure

Our girls' trip to Thessaloniki was unforgettable, and the location of our Airbnb was perfect. We loved being surrounded by a variety of bars and restaurants, and we appreciated how close we were to the vibrant atmosphere of the harbor area. We spent many evenings watching the sunset while enjoying live music and drinks. The food, service, and ambiance at the restaurants we visited were all exceptional, and we appreciated that there were plenty of affordable options available. As low-budget travelers, we found that there were plenty of places to eat out at without breaking the bank. We felt completely safe exploring the city on foot and enjoyed the company of other young travelers. Thessaloniki is an ideal destination for a girls' trip, with so much to see, do, and experience. We highly recommend it and can't wait to go back! Check out our recommendations below to see where we went out to eat

Sahara Beach exceeded all our expectations with its stunning views, clear water, and relaxing atmosphere. We were surprised to find out that the entrance and sunbeds were free as long as we ordered drinks and appetizers, which were all delicious. The beach was decorated tastefully and the music playing in the background added to the overall vibe of the place. We spent hours lounging on the sunbeds, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the views of the mountains. The only issue we faced was the struggle of finding transportation back to our accommodation, as public transport was limited. However, the overall experience at Sahara Beach was nothing short of amazing and it is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to spend a relaxing day at the beach with stunning views and crystal clear waters. The beach was not crowded and we felt like we had a private oasis to ourselves. It was the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and just unwind. The only thing we would suggest is to make sure you have your own transportation to get back from the beach. Despite this minor setback, we would definitely visit Sahara Beach again and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful beach day.
